What is it about? This is a specialist book on the Bull Terrier tracing its origins and background, and including all aspects of caring for this loving and affectionate breed. There is information on choosing a puppy, preparing your home for a Bull Terrier, and guidance on feeding, grooming and exercise. The Bull Terrier is one of the former fighting breeds, and although his temperament is now outstanding, he still requires a comprehensive programme of socialisation and training, which is given in-depth coverage. There is an analysis of the Breed Standard, with particular reference to Fitness for Function, and there is a chapter devoted to health issues.
