What is it about? This is a specialist book on the Beagle, tracing its origins and background, and including all aspects of caring for this delightful breed. There is information on choosing a puppy, preparing your home for a Beagle, and guidance on feeding, grooming and exercise. Anyone who has owned a Beagle will appreciate the importance of training, and there is excellent coverage of this topic, with lots of ideas for activities with Beagles. There is detailed analysis of the Breed Standard, and a chapter devoted to health issues.
